Although the two renounce the affair, the friendship of the trio in broken beyond repair. Screenwriter Zvonimir Berkovic made his debut here as a director with this classic B&W drama. Every Sunday, Mladen (Stevo Zigon) comes to play chess with his friend, the sculptor Fedja and gradually falls into an affair with the sculptor's wife Neda.
